  • After a 6 year hiatus, the Yankees are back in the World Series, which in no small part is due to the stellar postseason performance of Derek Jeter.

On September 11th 2009, New York Yankee captain Derek Jeter collected his 2,722 hit, surpassing Lou Gehrig's record for a Bronx Bomber. Jeter added another highlight to his Hall of Fame resume, which already includes a Rookie of the Year Award, 10 All-Star appearances, 3 Gold Gloves and most importantly, 4 World Series Championships. Gehrig had held the record for 70 years, but there was no person more suited to take his place than Jeter, who already had the record for hits in the original Yankee Stadium.

Derek Jeter has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him walking down the tunnel in the old stadium, which was taken by renowned photograph Anthony J Causi, who has also signed the piece.

  • Sandy Koufax was the most dominating pitcher of his generation.

His career peaked with a 6-year run like no other in the history of the game from 1961-1966 a period of time that included 6 straight All-Star appearances 3 Cy Young Awards and a NL MVP Award in 1963. From 1963-1966 he won 97 games and lost only 27. A 4-Time World Series Champion and 2-Time World Series MVP Koufax played his entire career for the Dodgers organization first in Brooklyn and then in Los Angeles. He threw 4 No-Hitters and one perfect game and made national headlines for his controversial decision to not pitch during Game 1 of the 1965 World Series (the game fell on Yom Kippur the most holy day in the Jewish religion). His career was cut short due to a bout with arthritis at the age of 30. As a result he became the youngest player to ever be elected to Baseballs Hall of Fame in 1972 at age 36.

Sandy Koufax and photographer Ken Regan have each hand signed this black and white 16x20 photo of him celebrating with his teammates. An Online Authentics hologram of Authenticity is included.

  • Mariano Rivera is, arguably, the greatest relief pitcher in the history of baseball.

His dominance, and ability to lock down wins, is legendary. Originally a starting pitcher, Rivera advanced his career to iconic status after making the transition to the bullpen. It was there that he perfected his cutter, a pitch that is both consistent and devastating. He spent the 1996 season setting up John Wetteland en route to capturing a World Series title. In 1997, with Wetteland's departure, Rivera became the full-time closer, a role he has owned ever since. The 10-time All-Star has been a key cog in 5 World Series Championships, was named MVP of both the 1999 World Series and the 2003 ALCS, and is currently second on the all-time career saves list, behind Trevor Hoffman.

Mariano Rivera has hand signed this 16x20 color photograph of him, entering from the bullpen during a game in 2006 at the Original Yankee Stadium. This photograph was taken by photographer Anthony J. Causi and is part of the Anthony J. Causi Collection.
