  • Ever wonder where the rules of golf came from? Look no further than this plaque which recounts the 13 Rules of Golf.

Back in 1744, to ensure that all players participating in the first recorded golf competition at Leith Links were abiding by the same rules, the Gentleman Golfers of Leith, soon to become the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, drafted and posted the Original 13 Rules of Golf. Golf, like every sport, evolved over the years, and so did the rules, but most of the old rules still apply.

Among the rules: You must Tee your Ball within a club length of the hole; You are not to change the Ball which you strike off the Tee; You are not to remove Stones, Bones, or any Break club for the sake of playing your Ball, Except upon the fair green, and that only within a Club length of your Ball.

The original 13 rules of golf is custom framed in a gold leaf frame with double matting. The approximate size is 20" x 12".

  • It's perhaps the most memorable play in the history of baseball.

Game 6 of the 1986 World Series found the New York Mets down to the Boston Red Sox 5-3 in the 10th inning. On the brink of elimination the Mets managed to tie the game at 5 before Mookie Wilsons slow dribbler up the first base line slipped through the legs of Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner. The historic gaff allowed Ray Knight to round third and score giving the Mets the 6-5 victory. The Mets would go on to win the World Series in 7 games.

This 16x20 photograph commemorating the historic play has been hand signed by both Mookie Wilson and Bill Buckner. Wilson added the inscription '102586.' A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.

  • The Giants had entered the bottom of the ninth down 4-1. Before Thomson came to bat with one out, the Giants had scored a run to make it 4-2 and had runners at second and third. Dodgers manager Charlie Dressen brought in Ralph Branca to face Thomson. After taking the first pitch for a strike, Thomson pulled back, took a big cut and connected on the next delivery, a fastball that was high and inside. The ball was smashed down the left field line just above the 315-foot sign and landed five rows deep in the stands. Thomson's home run gave the Giants a 5-4 victory over their biggest rival and a trip to the World Series. Catch the moment with this high quality 8x10 digital photograph signed by Thomson. This Photograph comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.

  • Dwight Gooden, known to Mets fans as Doc or Dr. K, epitomized the 'gotta believe' Mets in the mid- 80's. Throughout his career, Doc was a fearless pitcher who helped lead the Mets to a World Series in 1986. He finished his career with the crosstown rival Yankees with a .634 winning percentage and 2293 strikeouts to his credit. And during the Yankees magical 1996 season, Gooden pitched a no-hitter against the Mariners on May 14. The player who routinely hit 95 mph on the radar gun as a rookie in 1984 was back for one more fleeting moment. His fastball was back. Doc Gooden has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of his no-hitter celebration. A Steiner Sports certificate of authenticity is included.
