The Hooded Zip Up Mosquito Jacket
This is the hooded, lightweight jacket made from fine 1.2-mm netting that zips-up in front to shield the skin from mosquitoes without the use of harmful and malodorous chemicals. Worn over regular clothing, the jacket protects against insect-borne illnesses such as West Nile virus and Lyme disease, as well as the discomfort of itchy welts. The integrated hood shields the face and neck without obscuring your vision, and the extendable cuffs with thumbholes protect hands.
While standard insect repellents must be reapplied after several hours, this wearable net provides continuous, nontoxic, and environmentally friendly coverage without DEET or fragrances. The polyester stretches to allow freedom of movement while engaging in outdoor pursuits, and breathes so it won't trap heat, helping you stay cool even in tropical climates. Packs into its own pocket for easy transport.
For best protection, a loose fit is recommended.
Select unisex size:
*Small/Medium -- Chest: 31" / Body Length: 22" / Sleeve Length: 24"
Large/X-Large -- Chest: 35" / Body Length: 24" / Sleeve Length: 29"
These seem small. I am 6'2" and wear a 48L sportcoat, normal dress shirt need 35" sleeve length. Seems for an x-large the chest and sleeve length is too small and short. Good idea and for most women should fit well.
Take a look at the sizes before you order. The Large/X-Large may fit a small woman 5'4" or less, but not anyone taller than that.
How many men (and several women) have chest sizes larger than 35" and arms longer than 29"? My chest is 42" and my arm length is 34". Needless to say it will not fit. Therefore no order from me or my wife.
Anyone who buys this to use while working will be disappointed. The material is flimsy and it is hard to put on and take off.
Saw this item in the Skymall magazine while flying last month. Love the hand coverup and how easily it zips/sits on top of my cap. Looks "airy" and it is! I also like the feature that it fits back into its own pocket (built into the forearm area). Only request is that the company notify the customer before the 7-10 day ship date that it's on back order (ours arrived 3 weeks after the original order so it wasn't in time for the planned fishing trip)
