Benefits of the Rechargeable LED Lantern:
Only problem here is that after leaving this unit charging all night, the indicator light was still red, when it should turn to green. Also, ad says when on charger, lights will come on auto when there's a power failure. Could not test this feature, as I had no power outage yet.
I purchased this product a couple of weeks ago, and I still can't get over how bright this light is. Being LED lights, it's hard on your eyes if you point it directly in someone's eyes because it's so bright. But as long as you keep it out of direct eyesight, you're good to go. I can see how this would be great for camping or emergencies on the highway if your car should stop....really anyplace that needs a little light, this is it. Easy to hold, and lasts a long time. I turned it on before I went to bed in the living room, and still on (just a bit dimmer, but still bright) when I got up 6 hours later...This is a must buy for an extra light, emergency, or as a gift for a single person...I think I'll buy another.
The switch was broken on my first lantern and company sent me a replacement without any hassle. New one seems to be working okay but we haven't lost electricity yet to observe its potential. It does have a powerful bright light in manual mode.
The lantern gives great light, but it flickers. Is it supposed to do that? It is very annoying when I am trying to read.
