Great gift for kids and teenagers i gave these to three boys for Christmas - ages 8, 11 and 14 and they had a great time with them. It might be helpful to know that the invisible ink, when lit by the light on the other end of the pen, shows up in white, so writing on completely white paper doesn't work well. what works really well is writing something on one's hand. this is a great little gift for kids who like Harry Potter and other mystical books. Pen Pals I bought the Davinci Code Invisible Writer for a 16 year old girl and her best friend. They use the pen to write notes back and forth in school (usually about boys) and they seem to love them. The pens are a perfect gift for a set of comrades like them. I am glad I made the purchase and think it would be the perfect gift for long distant pen pals. December 3, 2008
