Great Idea My husband used to lift up the heavy suitcase, straining his back as he stepped on the bathroom scales, while I struggled to read the weight readout and then subtract his weight to get the weight of the piece of luggage. Clumsy and not very accurate either as we often learned at the airport counter. Now we have this simple device which gives us an accurate reading with no more struggle. Gift - check before giving I gave it as a gift. The digital readout did not work, so the recipient thought I bought a scale that only gave the green and red light but no actual weight display. Other than that it was a great gift for an international traveler. I think it's a flashlight too. December 14, 2011
