Works well with most dogs 4 out of 5 dogs quiet down when this device is on in my backyard. The old small dog ignores it. Three of the dogs run away from it. All in all, I'm happy with this. May 20, 2013
Ultrasonic Dog Deterrent It simply did not work. At first, we thought it was too far from the dog, but, when we tested it with the human voice "bark", it worked; when we hung it within range of the barking dog, it did not.I would not recommend this product. May 19, 2013
WORKS!!! I read the reviews before I purchased, I was skeptical, however I was purchasing this for our dogs, not a neighbors. We have 5 beagles that are hunting dogs and when they all start it is quite annoying. I purchased 2, one for each end of the kennel. They still bark, however they do not carry on for long periods of time. Dogs are supposed to bark, that is how they communicate and warn you. I would not want my dogs to never be able to bark. I would highly recommend this product if you are purchsing it for dogs in your own back yard. They do have to be within range. Our only complaint is that is goes through batteries like crazy. We are on our 3 set of batteries in only 2 1/2 weeks. But it's a good trade off. We are hoping that the neighbors appreciate the expense. We tried the no bark collars, we have several hundred dollars wrapped up in them and they work when they are wearing them, but you can't leave the collars on 24/7. This purchase was money well spent.
