Pretty but breakable I bought this necklace for myself and when I got it I was very happy with the quality of its appearance and the good quality of the wooden box it came in. It truly is a great replica of the movie necklace and great for collectors.However, I was very disappointed shortly after when one of the crystals fell out of the setting. It fell out while I was out wearing it and didn't notice until later so I lost the crystal. It appeared like the crystal was just glued into the setting...not a very secure method for keeping something in tact.I'm not sure if this is a fluke or if this is typical of the product but I wanted to share this for a consideration in purchasing it. It is possible that the crystals may fall out. If knowing this doesn't deter you from buying it then go for it. Maybe if you were just buying it as a collectors item without intending to wear it, then it would be a good investment. I assume that most people would want to wear it though so just know that the quality might not be the best in terms of durability. March 15, 2012
