Love the rod but needs more support I got the rod and we loved it. However it did not last long at all considering we did not use it often not often enough for it to not last a year for sure. The plastic parts inside broke off from lifting it back and forth. I never hang anything on my shower bar other than the shower curtains and maybe some socks or a wash cloth but never big wet towels and such not even dry towels. For the money I would buy and did buy a brass one don't have it yet and will buy metal pins for the inside to replace the plastic ones if there are any. These curtain rods are the best if they last longer than less than a year :(. We are only home every other week here also so it really did not get a work out. August 6, 2012
A great rod! The price is right and it does just as it says it does!I haven't used it for drip drying bathing suits yet but look forward to that feature for wetsuits.One detail, in measuring, that is important to make note of is the height of the end cap. I had to get a bit creative with installation, as I have some interesting ceiling angles, even though the center 9" clearance was no problem.It's crazy how much roomier the tub feels.
