Good purchase-too expensive This is overpriced for the quality but it functions as described. We've had to retighten the feet every other day. Width and height were most important but the same dimensions with a swinging door will definitely be better May 30, 2013
Tall Expanding Pet Gate Great gate. We use it to block our dogs from going up the stairs. Very convenient for us to slide the gate open and close. Also we like that we didn't have to assemble anything. Just open the box and place it where you want it. April 21, 2013
Not for medium to large dogs The gate was delivered with a small crack on one of the slider pieces, and also without the hardware to put the feet on the gate. I opted to go into town to buy the material required to fix rather than return the gate. Next, our three dogs (two chiguaguas and a lab) rendered the gate useless almost immediately. The lab just nosed the gate open right away and the chi chi's learned to do the same shortly thereafter. We are going to try to mount the gate to the wall with quick release fasteners and hope the lap doesn't just smash the light wood to pieces. We do like the look of the gate, but its just no match for our dogs at all. I would recommend the manufacturer provide hardware for "optional" wall mounting with a quick release capability or some way to lock/unlock the gate at the desired width. February 25, 2013
