Nice, But I'm Not Dazzled Somehow I thought that in 2012 cooking technology would have made leaps and bounds. This is nice durable cookware, but cleaning it is a real commitment. But the stainless does clean up ok if you let it soak first. Don't mistake this for non-stick cookware. One negative thing is that the handles on the lids get VERY HOT. The handles on the pans do stay cool, but not the ones on the lids. This set will probably last for a long time. Heating is quick and even. My 18 and 21-year olds tend to turn on the heat too high. They do heat quickly, and it doesn't take as high a setting as my former aluminum cookware. Overall I like the cookware, but I think it takes some getting used to not having the non-stick coating.
