Simply screw the Motion Sensor Light Socket into any standard indoor light socket (that's unobstructed by glass or a lamp shade) and screw the light bulb into it.

This screw-in motion sensor works incandescent bulbs up to 100 watts or compact fluorescent bulbs up to 50 watts. The First Alert Motion Sensor Light Socket features a 12' range and senses motion in all directions.
