Canterbury Chain Necklace
Styled after a necklace called a carcanet, popular during the Renaissance and revived in the Victorian era, this exquisite V-shaped piece is made of miniature emblems. Plated in bronze, they are highly detailed and hand-set with crystals, cabochons, and seed pearls. The chain is reproduced from dies dating back to the late 1800's. 19 1/2" long, foldover clasp. Coordinating slide bracelet is a sequence of ovals, diamonds, hearts, and squares set with crystals and vintage stones. All slide on the double chain. 7 1/4" long, foldover clasp, safety chain.
