Notre Dame Stadium has been the home of the Fighting Irish since it opened in 1930. One of the most renowned football facilities in the U.S., Notre Dame Stadium was renovated in 1997 and can play host to more than 80,000 screaming, cheering fans each and every game. It has been home to such great teams as the Lou Holtz led 1988 National Championship team, as well as greats like Joe Montana, Jerome Bettis and countless others who have played for the historic Fighting Irish. An actual, authenticated slab of game used bench from the sidelines on the field at the stadium is mounted to an 8x10 wood-backed plaque, featuring a collage of Notre Dame Stadium and brief description of the venue. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
