Add RecipientClassic A-2 Cotton Bomber Jacket
This is the 100% cotton version of the iconic A-2 bomber jacket worn by World War II pilots.
Made by Cockpit, supplier to the U.S. Air Force and Navy, the jacket originated in the Pacific Theater of Operations when aviators asked local tailors in China, Burma, and India to create tropical-weight versions of the leather A-2.
It provides a comfortable, generous fit. It has snap closures on the top-entry and side pockets, an inside chest pocket, a soft goatskin collar, a zippered wind flap with brass pull, knit cuffs and waistband, and a pen pocket. The interior back lining is screen-printed with a "The Nation Salutes You" message with double U.S. flags.
