Pay attention to age requirements I usually think most age requirements are not particularly applicable, but this one is true. It lists this toy as age 8 and above, which may be even a little too low. These cars easily lose contact with the track if you go too fast (and thus then stop running); very subtle nuances to how fast you can go where on the track, and delicate adjustments needed to be made on the controller. So far it still works, but our 6 year old can't use it very much, so I don't know how much that speaks to durability. My husband also thinks its too touchy. Took quite a while for an adult to set up, as well. January 9, 2013
