This is the remote controlled helicopter that can fly upside down.
Its two pairs of contra-rotating coaxial main rotors unclip easily from each swash plate--when inverted and reattached, the rotors provide the same amount of lift and gyroscopic inertia to keep the helicopter balanced for up/down and left/right flight. A switch on the infrared remote eliminates both the need to reverse joystick directions or remove the horizontal tail rotor, which spins to pitch the nose up or down for forward and backward flight. The helicopter can also fly conventionally by keeping the rotors in their original configuration.
Its rechargeable battery provides seven-minute flight times from a 50-minute charge using either the remote or a computer using the included USB cable.
Indoor use only. Requires six AA batteries.
