Great machine, I can't stop using it I love this smoker. It is easy to operate and easy to clean. I smoked various fishes - yellowtail, sardines, chilean seabass, salmon, black seabass and all of them came out delicious. I also smoked chicken, chicken wings, cornish hans - all came out great. I put machine near the stove, under the exhaust and it produces no smoky smell.I tried it as a pressure cooker as well and cooked chicken bones for soup - that worked well. Though it works great as a pressure cooker, I don't like using it that way because the smoker heating element is not removable and stays in the pot - that bothers me because I don't want to cook a hunk of metal in my food. The ring that seals the lead develops a smoky smell. It is prudent to buy an extra ring if you want non-smoky foods - this way you can change them at will. I tried to contact the customer service to buy extra parts, but they are very unresponsive - they did not respond to my email and they didn't return my phone call when I left a message. They are really hard to reach. I found a ring for another cooker on the internet and just bought that one. January 9, 2013
Wonderful Product This was a gift to my boyfriend loves smoking and kept wanting to get a pressure cooker. When saw this I thought this would be perfect. In the first week smoked a whole chicken, beef roast, pork tenderloin, and even tried the smoke eggs and cheese. You do need to be careful how many chips using because you can over smoke and the cold smoke does emit smoke smell in the house but otherwise we think this is wonderful. Will e used at least once a week. January 9, 2013
Surprisingly good smoker! It really works! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, but being a lover of smoked meats, I had to give it a try. I smoked a whole chicken for my first try. Granted, you will not get the crispy skin you would on an outdoor smoker, but the flavor is there. I actually took the chicken out after 50 minutes, and placed it in a hot oven for 15 minutes to crisp the skin - perfect! October 23, 2012
