Very Small Beautiful map with lettering so small as to almost be impractical January 24, 2013
Beautiful Map This product is as described. The wood feels completely solid (not hollow) and is nicely heavy. The map is adhered to the wood's surface and feels like parchment or other quality paper. The map is nicely printed and has red foil labels for "Eriador", "The Shire", "Arnor", "Rhovanion" and "Rohan" as well as a small red foil dragon. The map name is also done in red foil. There are other labeled places as well (Lothlorien, Misty Mountains, etc., just not in red foil. If I have one complaint it's that there isn't anything protecting the paper map. It is well adhered to the wood surface, which is good, but no cover (nor am I sure how you would cover it).I wish it was larger (but knew it wasn't when I bought it) and it's still a pretty map that will look great on a wall.The 16" x 10" is overall size, including wood. The map itself is 14 3/8" x 9 1/8" January 10, 2013
