These highly detailed, beautifully illustrated maps first appeared in a now-famous atlas published by London cartographer John Tallis in 1851.
Ireland shows the country near the end of the Great Famine (a time when many Irish emigrated to America,) with decorative vignettes of St. Patrick's in Dublin, Limerick Castle, and more.
Germany shows the German states prior to the 1871 unification, excluding Prussia. Vignettes feature Dresden, Luther's House, and more.
Each map is printed on high-quality cotton art canvas, mounted to domed wooden hanging bars with an antiqued gold finish, and ready to hang from a sawtooth on back.
