Happiest Recipient Ever I purchased Hermione Granger's Wand as a Christmas gift for our future daughter-in-law, as she is enthralled with everything that is Harry Potter, and because she has absolutely no memorabilia at all in regards to Harry Potter, I thought I would start her collection for her, and Hermione is one of her favorite characters that uses a wand. It was the best Christmas present we could have given her and she was thrilled that we had even thought to do that for her. It made us very happy that she loved it. It was simple but meant the world to her. January 9, 2013
Hermione's Wand The packaging was wonderful. When I lifted the inner layer and saw the wand I was disappointed. It was not bronze or golden but olive green. It was made of an artificial substance like a heavy plastic. I painted it myself three times until it "looked" like metal. My grandson seemed happy with it. I imagine the first time he bangs it accidently it will shatter. January 9, 2013
