Laminated surface may be written on time and again with a dry-erase marker (one included).

Education All Around Ua This map has changed our school! Before students just walked down the hall. Now they dream and learn every single time they pass our massive and amazing world map. Sometimes I just walk behind classes to see what part of the world intrigues them the most. At our school we encourage every student to go to college and now we have opened up their eyes to the world that is before them! IT IS A MUST BUY! April 23, 2013

great map This map looks fantastic on my wall. I had to trim about 6 inches off of top & bottom to make it fit, but I only lost Antarctica, some islands in the Arctic, & the international clocks along the bottom which I didn't like the look of anyhow. It comes in eight sections. Since it was too wide for the intended wall as well, I just moved two of the blocks around the corner to the next wall.I am so thankful to the reviewer who recommended the 3M COMMAND PICTURE HANGING STRIPS for hanging this map, as the wallpaper glue it comes with would have hung it permanently, & I like to move things around too much in my house to be scraping off wallpaper glue in a few years.I'd agree with the reviewers who say not to write on this with the dry-erase marker unless you're erasing again right away. I feel like it would dry on & never come off. The map is, however, smooth & sturdy enough to tape things on & expect them to come off cleanly. It is made of the same sort of material as wallpaper.
