Silpain is designed for baking bread that turns out perfectly.
Its non-stick surface is darker than the traditional Silpat, and it is uniquely perforated to allow moisture from the dough to seep through to provide a perfect crust and even browning. Use this for your homemade pizzas! Silpain is not recommended in the dishwasher. Please do not cut on the Silpain. When used for properly, the Silpain can last between 2,500-3,000 uses.
